One of the tournament big gun, Axis-02 finally secured their first ‘kill’ of the season by beating Tatmark FC 6-1 in a windy evening at Stadium Majlis Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ). Axis-02 respond brilliantly after their goalless draw last week while Tatmark FC scored for their second consecutive match & also concede heavily after 2 games.
Axis-02 get their first goal from a perfect through ball from Shafeez and Desmond finish calmly by slotting in the ball into the low left side of the net. A lightning quick response come from Tatmark FC just 1 minute, when stiker Haily Azuan Azmi scored a beautiful lob goal from just inch inside the penalty area while Axis-02 goalkeeper just stare and watch the ball go into the net.
Tatmark don’t make things easy for Axis-02 as they begin to find their rhythm to make the match balance in term of ball control.
An unfortunate movement saw Tatmark concede another goal when Mohd Azwann Ismail scored a tap in from well timing run on the 26 minutes. Tatmark’s counter attacking football caused some stir for Axis-02 as the crowd cheers might inject extra motivation for Tatmark’s players.
A dangerous free kick from the middle of the park forced a desperate save from Axis-02 goalkeeper to punch the ball away to safety.
2nd half
A 2-1 lead for Axis-02 about to change dramatically for Tatmark FC as their first half energetic performance suddenly change significantly. Axis-02 third goal came on the 44 minutes as Shah Rizuan low drive shot from a Desmond throughball find the net.
While Tatmark FC still catching their breath, Axis-02 scored their fourth goal of the night on the 47 minutes after Sheedi Rasni scored a simple goal when Tatmark’s goalkeeper, Sahrizal unable to collect the ball flying passed his head from a Shafeez corner kick.
Axis-02 continue to party as Razzmir Ashraff scored their fifth goal of the night on 54 minutes from an amazing through ball from previous goal scorer, Sheedi Rasni. An icing on the cake for Axis-02 on the 63 minutes as Aidil Zainal Abidin scored their sixth goal of the night from a simple one-two passes with Desmond.
Tatmark’s miserable run in the league continues as they suffered their second heavy defeat of the season after only their second match. Axis-02 finally finding their feet after few of their star players return from injury, adding boost and prove to be vital in their 6 goals festival tonight.
