Revo FC suffered their second heavy lost in a row by losing 1-4 to much better FC Serayan side at Stadium Perbandaran Ampang Jaya (MPAJ) Pandan Perdana on the last day of AXA KVL M5 matchweek 2.
FC Serayan didn’t take long to get their first goal of the match on the 4th minutes through a powerful low shot from Nor Amirul Syamir. Amirul add his second to his account of the night on the 15th minutes again from his powerful run, but this time on the left side of the penalty box.
Amirul Syamir presence as a false 9 bring so much impact for FC Serayan gameplay as he able to create 2 more key passes during first-half action but failed to be converted by his teammates. Revo FC best chance come on the 31st minutes when a diving header from Khairil Adzha goes wide.
2nd half
Amirul Syamir almost book himself a hatrick before being substituted later on when he already beaten the goalkeeper to score an open goal but Revo’s defender put his body on the ground to clear the ball for a corner.
Revo FC poor performance of the night continued as Serayan got their 3rd goal of the night by substitute who replaced Amirul, Norzaki Hamidon after he beat the defender from a 50-50 ball and smash it hard into the net.
After conceding 10 goals so far I the tournament, Revo FC finally get their goal for their much needed motivation after a Loris Karius-esque howler from substitute goalkeeper Kamal Asyraf unable to catch the ball cleanly from a Asyaraf Azib Noor cross.
It didn’t take long for Serayan to let Revo FC celebrate their first goal of the campaign as FC Serayan get their final goal of the night to complete their amazing performance through Ridhwan Abdul Razak after he calmly took a ball from a cross to scored their fourth.
FC Serayan tactical change to play false 9 and non- attacking wingbacks prove to be worthy against Revo FC. Revo FC manager will need to demand his players to increase their work rate and fitness level as fast as they could otherwise they will suffer badly during this campaign.
